Al Capriolo: a timeless place

After a long day hiking, Luca the innkeeper will treat you to the house specialty: tagliatelle with roe deer ragù, alongside—needless to say—with a glass of local wine. Additionally, the menu features all the typical delicacies of the Venetian mountains: from the famous pastìn—a kind of fresh sausage—and polenta, to wild boar, deer and roe deer cold cuts. All to be accompanied by garlic and parsley mushrooms, and frico—the traditional grilled cheese.
Vegetarians should not feel out of place among all this meat: clearly indicated in the menu by a leaf icon, the Locanda offers ricotta gnocchi, herbs casoncelli (a shell-shaped stuffed pasta) and an accurate selection of cheeses. All the culinary specialties are prepared following the traditional recipes and using local ingredients that the guests can also purchase separately.
